25 December 2018
Dear BunAs 2018 draws to a close, we are looking forward to 2019 as it will bring another opportunity for many from New Zealand Rugby to visit Japan and we will be able to continue to forge strong relationships between our two rugby loving nations.
I understand from Roger Drummond that you will be having an exhibition of your paintings during the Rugby World Cup tournament. We wish you very well for your exhibition and are pleased that so many more people will be able to see your work.
We remember well your visit to New Zealand Rugby in 2011 and your generosity of the large Clown painting which was proudly displayed in our offices. I have attached some pictures of the painting and assure you that we still treasure it. Your painting is a reminder of the strong bonds we have through rugby and the benefits that playing our great sport brings to many.
Once again, best wishes for a successful exhibition and our sincere thanks to you for helping continue to strengthen the bonds between us.
